Influencer Contract Checklist for UAE Brands and Creators

The terms every influencer agreement should cover: deliverables, payment, usage rights, exclusivity, approvals and compliance.

Influencer Contract Checklist for UAE Brands and Creators

A good agreement prevents misunderstandings. Whether you hire a creator or you are a creator working with a brand, these points should be clear in writing. This is general information, not legal advice, so ask a qualified lawyer for contracts with larger budgets.

The checklist

1. Parties and scope

Who is the brand and who is the creator, with legal or trading names and contact details.

2. Deliverables

Exact content: format, number of videos or posts, length, platforms and any Stories or links.

3. Deadlines

Draft date, approval date and posting date.

4. Fee and payment terms

The total fee, currency (AED), payment method and when payment is released. On YallaCreator, payment is held by the platform and released after the brand approves the content. See how escrow-style payments work.

5. Revisions

How many rounds of changes are included and what counts as a change.

6. Approval process

Who approves content, how long they have to respond and what happens if there is no reply.

7. Usage rights

Where, how and for how long the brand can reuse the content: organic, paid ads, website, in-store. Paid usage is usually priced separately.

8. Exclusivity

Whether the creator can work with competitors for a time, and what is considered a competitor.

9. Disclosure and compliance

Content must be clearly marked as advertising and follow UAE advertising standards. Creators should hold a valid UAE Advertiser Permit and show their number. See our Advertiser Permit guide.

10. Content standards

No misleading claims, no offensive material and no content that conflicts with UAE laws and values.

11. Ownership and licences

The creator usually owns the original content, the brand receives a licence as agreed. Make this explicit.

12. Performance and reporting

Whether the creator will share insights and when.

13. Cancellation and refunds

What happens if either side cancels, the work is late or the content does not match the brief.

14. Confidentiality

Product launches, pricing and unreleased details.

15. Dispute resolution

How disagreements are handled and which law applies.

Keep everything in one place

Using a platform that records the brief, accepted package, messages, delivery and approval gives both sides a clear record. Book creators on YallaCreator and keep the whole collaboration in your dashboard.
